So, suanterelle, just so you know that I did not smite you out of hand, here is why I did.
You attempted to equate homosexuality as normal, based on activities in the animal kingdom. To those activities you apply human motivation, sentiment and human psycho-dynamics. So, even though you call people idiots for the smites you receive, at least yours are earned. You never document anything. I, on the other hand, provide you with plenty of sources.
But, every time you smite me, it is a badge of honor. It means that I have provided information you can not dispute, and you smite me out of frustration, rather then it being justifiable.

That's a fair argument. It doesn't mean that animals can or can't be homosexual, it simply means that we can't know. The same logic should applied to religion.

Now see subdjoe, a perfect reason to smite saunterelle again. In this post, he has taken a jab at religion, which has nothing to do with the subject. A jab that insults more then 75% of the world at large. saunterelle would probably fall over dead if he realized that the catholic church actually used to do same sex marriages in the past.
Let's keep it on topic saunterelle. Animals are not proof that homosexuality is normal. It's not normal, but that does not mean we should discriminate or shun homosexuals in our society.

My point with the shot at religion is simply to illustrate hypocrisy. You will outright dismiss the possibility that animals can be homosexual because it would be "applying human psychodynamics." Yet at the same time you'll believe in an all-powerful, judgmental, Christian God without any proof whatsoever. Isn't that also "applying human psychodynamics?"
