I wonder what the motive was. Very strange. Maybe a practice run for something else?

Absolutely disgusting! We need more people to take on children with special needs, and now we have two less. I assume the motive might be for robbery? The couple was supposedly very wealthy. Scum bags!

As I thought, robbery. So, two people had to die for a safe full of? And, who knows what else...
Some people aren't worth the air they breathe!

The monsters guilty of this crime should receive capital punishment. Life in prison is too good for them!

We don't know all of the details yet. There is probably much more going on here than just a B&E.

Here is the latest...8 now in custody, the law is still seeking one more person who is believed to have bungled the assignment of neutralizing the security system. A safe taken from the home and firearms, including the murder weapon, have been recovered. These yayhoos, mainly amateurs mixed in with a career criminal or two, spent a month (according to reports) working out the details and training for this attack. It seems pretty clear what their intent was. Presumably they believed that the safe in question held a large enough quantity of cash to make it worth the risk, dope, or both. While not reading anything into the news, USDEA is now assisting in the investigation.

Too bad they didn't do it in Texas. Texas knows how to take care of them.
