at first i thought this might be best placed under comedy but it really showcases the creativity of americans.

I think that if they make it 10 years, they will look back and say...What the hell were we thinking?
They turned it into a farce. Can't there be even a few minutes of dignity and decorum? They have the rest of their lives to live it up and be silly, and they are about to take on the most awful resposibility of their lives, and they make a circus out of it.

Awful is right, but I'm jaded since my "traditional" ceremony turned out to be a farce, too. I wish I had expressed myself instead of doing what everyone else does. I applaud these two and I loved it! Besides... at least it was a man and a woman. |

2: filled with awe: as a obsolete : afraid, terrified b: deeply respectful or reverential
