I agree with you JMO. The slip of the tongue and forgetfullness, married with the insistence that they are ready is not a good sign- both Reagan and mostly bush 43 have proved so well.

Apparently then you didn't watch yesterday's joint Obama / McCain event? Even MSNBC's David Shuster hosting the coverage, and who is well known and documented for being in the tank for Barack on the air, stated very clearly that McCain looked great and largely drubbed Obama.
It was a very interesting two hours and I am glad I watched it. While, as a real Goldwater conservative, John McCain leaves me less than satisfied, after yesterday's event I am significantly more warmed up to him.

TBD, no I didn't good to know. I've been trying to keep an open mind given the options, but so far I just can't find it in me to jump on either bandwagon!
