Gee, Mink. Palin has about two years in an execs chair as Gov. of AK. as opposed to Barry with 140-some days as a debater in a legislative body, which one has more executive experience? Hell, she has more exec experience than Biden! Yeah, Cereal Joe has 36 YEARS sucking at the public teat in the senate where he gets to debate and pass the buck but doesn't really get put in the hot seat and make a decision. Plus, she had character and integrety out the wazoo. Isn't beholdin' to anyone it seems. Unlike Barry and Joe who have ties to all sorts of special interests. Mink wrote: "Democrats aren't quite as nasty as Republicans in presidential elections, and I'm sure the target will be Mccain" Yeah, right. Remember the crap they put out when Reagan was running? and GHW Bush? and GW Bush? Tell us another one. Don't tell me you forgot the Republican "swift boating" on Kerry? Just look at how you are referencing Joe Biden......."Cereal Joe" I'm sorry, but the only experience she has is in Alaska, not the most populated state so I hardly call her experienced and by the way her special interest is oil. She is being accepted by Republicans and I guess this makes for a better race, but God help us if these two are elected.

so you're sticking with the old..." i've never voted republican so i won't this time, either."
you had never voted for the reform party before so what made you vote for them in 1992? ross perot was anti-gun control and in favor of social security cuts. perhaps it was his pro-choice stance and his eagerness to increase gas taxes.

I picked up "Cereal Joe" from a leftist blogger, Mink. I figure if a leftist can use a term, especially about one from his own side, so can I.
OK, so Palin "only" has executive experience in Alaska. First, take a look at the special problems AK faces with transportation, education, health care, etc. Seems like a good proving ground for executives. Now, tell us again how much EXECUTIVE exeprience Barry "Yeah, I'm here" Obama and Cereal Joe have.

Thanks, JMO. That, other than the light colored text on a light background in some shots, makes some things clear. Seems like we have one person who has had real life experience and several jobs, and some experience in the executive branch, and another person, the epitome of a DC insider, who has never done, nor inteded to do, an honest days work during adulthood and has pretty much worked on a bunch of pieces of feel good legislation and has NO experience at all in an executive capacity.

great video JMO! i'm sure if you keep looking you'll find many more with the opposite slant.
obama's mantra is "change" yet he picked mr. status quo himself as a running mate. funny, isn't it? ;D

Well, it is good to see you support Mccain /Palin, but I am quite surprised at what little experience she does have is acceptable. For months, all I have heard is what little, if any experience Obama has, yet you embrace Palin without question, knowing she has little to none. Understand that most ALL of America wants change, and those that are Washington-ed experienced leave a distasteful feeling in our collective mouth. Obama is RUNNING on 'change' and 'hope', but gives us a guy with 36 years in the Beltway, while the 'hope' is recognized as heated up socialism that works no where on the planet with the success that America has shown time and again. I like her because of her "lack of experience" in that she has not been smeared in the excrement of Washington, but what dealings she has had indicates she is willing to take names, kick butt, and not "go along to get along". You know, that thing that independent, mouthy women do so well, when they want to! As for her character, many women throughout our history fit the same mold, yet have never been given the credit much less attention. No doubt, giving birth and raising children has been overlooked as spectacular, however,I hardly call that criteria for such a high office. Mink, you could easily be loved, but are dead wrong in your last sentence. Any PERSON that could handle five children 24/7 really and truly does know and show organizational skills. As much as any manager of businesses that run America. Obviously not in size, but more in complexity, and with the same resiliency that it takes to order consistently as well as constantly to get the job done. One reason for the old division of labor was because many males cannot get that detail oriented for so long a period, with constancy, tenacity, and determination. So we leave, go out, do 'stuff' and come back, and over the eons have forgotten just what it takes to be a "Mom". We agree that it has been overlooked as spectacular in the whole, but it is time to admit, by having her become presidential, that 'plain old Moms' really have it together and show that criteria alone is an indication of strength, endurance, and other qualities that most men currently in the political arena lack, if not hide rather well: character.

I didn't like the Democrat running for office. Since there is no way i would vote for a Republican, I voted Perot. Thank goodness he didn't win because I wound up voting Clinton in 1996.

Len, thanks for your input on women and their very important role as a mother, nurse, doctor, teacher, cook, gardener, wife, lover, friend ....etc. You have every right to your opinion on Palin (good for you)!! I just don't share the same point of view. She may be good at her job/s in the least populated state of the US, a good mother, hunter, cook, yadda, yadda, yadda, but I just don't agree her stance on women, regarding abortion. She is pro choice, that is her choice, but if she wins, and the Republicans have a majority Supreme Court justices, we could see a reversal of Roe vs Wade. She also doesn't beleive in sex education in schools, but rather, abstinence. I agree with abstinence, but I think it is necessary to educate young people about sex, even if you don't buy your son condoms or take your daughter to the dr. for birth control. As I am finding more about her, I just don't agree with her stances on some issues, but she is a very pretty American and I do think women are strong, but not all can run a country and I'm not so sure Palin can.
