I've decided it might be nice to dedicate a thread to responsible gun use in America. I will start of with a video showing a .50 "assault rifle" being used properly for training at a range. if anyone has any other informative videos like this one that you believe will help us all become better gun owners, feel free to post them here.
this video shows a .50 cal with a good scope and a nicely padded butt stock which, imho, is an essential feature when handling this type of equipment:

i know. it detracts from the serious tone of the video. what a shame. Joking, and pulchritudinous, aside. it really isn't too bad for what it covers. She pays close attention to the instruction, seems to have good awareness of the basics of breath control, getting the sight picture before putting her finger on the trigger, pressing - not jerking - the trigger, follow though, and is off the gun before turning to look at the camera. Only real gig I have is that it didn't look like she safed the weapon (slide or bolt back, drop magazine)before coming off it.
