I just got through reading George W. Bush's book, Decision Points. It's an interesting book because, as a presidential memoir, it's not a diary but a thorough discussion of fourteen major issues that Bush faced while in office. It's also interesting because it presents a side of the story on each issue that many people either ignore or have conveniently forgotten. The one that I intend to follow up on is the rebuttal to the claim that Bush never tried to rein in Fannie and Freddie, the leading causes of the subprime mortgage meltdown that took our economy over the cliff in 2008. More to come on that.

Don't bother - the commies (lefties) will only claim that GWB got that intel from Fox News to put in his book, which is where you got it, so it has to be false.
I just hope the more vociferous lefties live to see the day when GWB is written into history as one of our best. His mug on Mt. Rushmore would cause widespread coronaries amongst the left, and would thereby drain the lower end of the gene pool.
Which would be nice...

I bought "Decision Points" and have not started to read it yet. I bet it's not a bedtime story, so not one to relax with and want to stay alert while reading. Isn't it amazing (but predictable) how the Left never ceased in their rants and violent rhetoric about President Bush, but jump on any and all criticism of Obozo? "Civility" never enters the empty heads of the uber Liberal crowd.
