How many lies can you spot here?
How about throwing seniors off of Medicare? Ryan's budget proposes no such thing. No current Medicare recipient will see a change in his/her coverage.
How about $70 billion in tax cuts for "millionaires and billionaires"? How much did the Bush tax cuts for the middle class add to the deficit?
MoveOn would have you believe that, if we just raised tax rates to what they were in the good old days under Bill Clinton (see my earlier posts), things would be rosy again. What they don't tell you is that even if the government confiscated all of the income of the upper 5% - the "millionaires and billionaires" - it would not be enough to pay off all of the spending that Obama has proposed in his budget.
Oh, they didn't tell you that?
