Have you ever noticed that, when a Democrat gets caught with his pants down (literally), the MSM is ready to give him a pass? Note the glaring lack of coverage on CBS, NBC and ABC. However, if the party in question had an "R" after his name, it would be front page news for weeks, with calls for resignation and more. I'm not the only one who notices this glaring inconsistency.

Exactly. But, since most, if not all, Dem politicians have no set morals and rely on relativism, there is no standard for them to try to live up to, or fall short of.

In clips that will hit the Internet to promote a new book, producers including "Friends" co-creator Marta Kauffman and "House" creator David Shore say Hollywood discriminates against and belittles conservatives.

Some of TV’s top executives from the past four decades may have gotten more than they bargained for when they agreed to be interviewed for a politically charged book that was released Tuesday, because video of their controversial remarks will soon be hitting the Internet.

The book makes the case that TV industry executives, writers and producers use their clout to advance a liberal political agenda. The author bases his thesis on, among other things, 39 taped interviews that he’ll roll out piecemeal during the next three weeks.

The Hollywood Reporter obtained several of the not-yet-released clips, embedded below. Each contains a snippet of an interview, usually some historical footage of the TV shows the interviewee was responsible for and, naturally, a plea to purchase the book, “Primetime Propaganda” by Ben Shapiro and published by Broad Side, an imprint of HarperCollins.

What I think is most telling in that piece is:

Shapiro said the executives felt comfortable talking about politics with him because they assumed, incorrectly, that he is on the left.

“Most of them didn’t Google me. If they had, they would have realized where I am politically,” he said. “I played on their stereotypes. When I showed up for the interviews, I wore my Harvard Law baseball cap — my name is Ben Shapiro and I attended Harvard, so there’s a 98.7 percent chance I’m a liberal. Except I happen not to be.”

He went to Haavud and is a Jew, so he must be a leftist.

after a week of the liberal media demonizing breitbart and other conservative bloggers and media outlets, they are eating a little crow today albeit very quietly. I watched a bit of msnbc the other day just to see what their take on the the wiener situation was. I couldn't help but note how the two commentators kept insinuating that since breitbart was a conservative blogger that he must be lying or must have concocted the whole thing just to make weiner look bad.

today, they acted as if they were shocked at the confession. were you shocked? i wasn't. i knew as soon as he started denying everything and dodging questions that the little f'er was lying. And that's what pisses me off the most. It's bad enough that as a married man he is sending pictures of his pee pee to girls on tweeter. The fact that a sitting congressman who gets to vote on bills that directly affect me and my family goes out and lies to God and country for an entire week, knowing full well he is guilty, pisses me off. for that reason alone, the little prick (no pun intended) should have the balls (again, no pun) to step down.

will he be forced to resign? somehow, i doubt it. i expect an official "censure" aka, slap on the wrist ala charley rangle and that will be the end of it. business as usual inside the beltway.

Weiner has been stubborn in his refusal to leave office, so now he has decided to ask for a "leave of absence in order to seek treatment".

I didn't think there was "treatment" for sleazy thinking and actions. Does this mean he is going to go to one of those Hollywood type treatment centers for sex addiction? Really? How stupid does he think people are? If you are a weenie wagger, the most common "treatment" is jail and register as a sex offender for the rest of your life.

I expect he will show up again within a few weeks and say he's "all better" and expect to be welcomed back into the fold. Dems don't really have a problem with what he did, it's that it is now "distracting" them from "important work"......like spending more money.
