Granted that she probably doesn't have a really massive audience like say, Ed Schultz (who is little better), but mainstream prog talk firebrand Randi Rhodes seems to be reaching beyond the bottom of her personal barrel of mud.
Defend this my leftist friends.
Rhodes Suggests Palin Likes To Sleep With Teenage Boys
Just how far are lefty pundits willing to go to smear Sarah Palin? On behalf of the "progressive" movement, libtalker Randi Rhodes seems determined to sink to new depths of moral depravity, with the limits of imagination as her only impediment.
Less than a week after her wildly dishonest claim that John McCain was "well-treated" during his wartime imprisonment in Vietnam, Rhodes is at it again, this time making a strong inference that Palin likes to sleep with teenage boys.
It's further evidence of a widespread smear campaign that involves lefty bloggers, libtalkers and the mainstream news media. With this gang, the ends apparently justify the means. That there isn't a shred of evidence to back up any of their claims is irrelevant: this is full-scale character assassination.
I don't see where Randi says palin is sleeping with teenage boys.
quote:
RHODES (HOUR TWO -- 47:59): She’s the woman who shows up at the kid’s birthday party and starts opining about everything from politics to lawn care. This is the woman that knows it all. Will shout you down, will get revenge on you. That’s who she is.
She's friends with all the teenage boys. You have to say no when your kids say, 'can we sleep over at the Palin’s? No! NO!' ____________________________________________
Being friends doesn't mean sleeping with them.
BTW, Rhodes has also called Hillary a b*tch......

The drunken Randi Rhodes is everything the Right says lib-media types are; dishonest; malicious; vindictive; angry; filled with hate.
May she keep it up 'till Nov.!

Yeah, she's a piece of work.
Let's be realistic here though, there are extreme right talk hosts that push things too far, and cross the line.
Extreme, sometimes offensive talk hosts are not limited to one side of the political sprectrum.

That may be true, but why can't left-leaning radio shows/networks sell enough commercial time to stay on the air? Market forces? Weak message? Disinterested listeners? Unpleasant hosts? Whatever the reason, the Right rules the talk radio airwaves. Equal time considering the MSM is 99.9% Leftist.

Here is the link to the full radio show in question regarding teenage boys/palin : www.therandirhodesshow.com/She was the neighborhood Alpha-Female at the kid’s birthday party. Women know that woman. She’s the 'expert' on everything from politics to lawn care. The mom who commands the gathering of adults while her children are off bullying the other kids. She’s the woman who tells you when it’s time to paint your house, pull up your tulips, bring in your garbage cans, keeps her dogs in cages, takes over the condo meetings, thinks egging houses on Halloween is a “right of passage”, knows her kids drink and party and is friends with the teenage boys. Hers is the house where you have to tell your teens “NO” to sleepovers.

No, Rhodes wasn't so gauche as to actually SAY it, she just put out that Palin is friendly with teenage boys and they want to sleep at her place (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more). Otherwise, why mention it at all? This is very much in the Michael Moore school, mix bits and peices in such a way as to lead people to the wrong conclusion. No individual phrase need be incorrect, or at least most of the phrases are not incorrect, but they way they are put together tells a Big Lie.
Let's say that a right wing personality made a remark that Barry has never be arrested for buggering sheep. What would you think? What would you say about a comment like that?

This is a non-issue.
Hannity/savage are always way out there with their inuendos and falsities, so what do I do? Consider the source and tune them out! Like I mentioned earlier, Rhodes called Hillary a name~

That's good! I want the "alpha female" in Washington.
My daughter is a Staff Sergeant in the Cal. Nat. Guard. I know alpha females.
Why is it that only conservative women "don't know their place"?
The Dem. alpha female was tossed aside by her party. She was their shot at POTUS, not the "Man-child in the Promised Land".
Bad move, Dem's.

I don't think Randi referred to palin as alpha female because she is a leader.....there, I know she was being facetious

TNG: "as you can see by the last link there even foreigners are pitching in to do their part to help the dems blow it yet again. wow, how are dems going to feel when their team loses 3 times in a row? probably not unlike many raiders fans, eh?"
Well, considering the source, this is their job to do the very same thing they accuse the other of. Something the neocons have worked on and once was successful at.
