well, it's hard to deny that obama's one-term presidency is just about etched in stone now. TURNER WINS!!!if you think the wave of republicans voted in last year was something, just wait. you ain't seen nothing yet! the bammy administration has rubbed too many people the wrong way for way too long and steadily they are pushing right back. we could have a landslide next year a 'la walter mondale.

James Carville has the answer: Panic!: In other words, the Democrats are extremely regretful for backing the junior Senator from Illinois who was swept into office on the basis of his soaring rhetoric and lofty promises, not on anything concrete. I keep reading articles about rumors that there will be a Democrat convention to select a presidential candidate. This should be interesting. If I were Obama, I'd hire a food taster.

Rep. Henry "The Nose" Waxman predicted the loss: Well, that just about says it all, doesn't it? Just like the comment from Santa Rosa City Councilman Scott Bartley about the opposition to the restoration of Courthouse Square: We are so lucky to have such wise men representing us.
