Report: $500,000 of Stimulus Funds Spent on Pro-Obama Ads
There is controversy in Washington over a new report that reveals the Labor Department spent $500,000 of stimulus money to run primetime ads on MSNBC promoting the government’s green jobs training program.
The spots ran more than 100 times in 2009, but the contract outlining the deal shows no jobs were created via the advertising. The Labor Department argues the spending was important to raise awareness among employers about the training.
That must have been some of those "shovel ready" jobs....shoveling Obama's shit to the mushroom masses.....
When SHOCKING news is no longer shocking we have a problem people! Whether you like the president or not, you are paying for this re-election propaganda. Even if you are still enamored by this man, certainly this mis-handling and miss-application of tax-payer dollars must be viewed as immoral. NO TAX-PAYER should ever pay for ANY president to toot his own horn--especially when it's clearly a lie!
