A seven-year-old boy broke into a zoo and fed animals to the resident crocodile on Wednesday.
The child, who scaled security fences at Alice Springs Reptile Centre in Australia, killed 13 animals including a goanna, a turtle, bearded dragons and three lizards.
The cost of the murdered animals is estimated to be around £2,750.
He then fed the animals to an 11-foot salt**ter crocodile called Terry. His 30-minute attack on the zoo was caught by CCTV and his face remains mainly blank during the event.
"It was like he was playing a game," said zoo boss Rex Neindorf. "We're horrified that anyone can do this, and saddened by the age of the child.
"By all accounts, he's quite a nasty seven-year-old. If we can't put the blame on to the child, then someone has to accept the responsibility."
Police have identified the boy but he is not criminally liable as he is under the age of ten.
