Isn't it amazing what happens when man STOPS messing with Mother Nature? But, of course, "man" does not seem to learn from past mistakes. Remember the fools (California Fish and Game) who put tracking collars on deer without a thought about what happens to the necks of bucks in rutting season? Yep, lots of dead deer, who died horrible deaths, thanks to the infinite "wisdom" of "trained experts" in "wildlife management" (who love to lord it over those whom they feel are inferior (you and me)and enjoy handing out tickets and lifetime penalties for such things as fishing with barbed hooks....go figure. How are you going to catch a fish to eat without a hook? Only the Indians.....ooops....Native Americans..can catch fish to eat/sell/let spoil by the pickup loads. Yep, and they can do it with nets! Then they dump the fish in their pickups and head for the local bar and let the fish spoil in the heat. Just a few REAL LIFE examples of your local F&G at work.

I have several great photos taken this year of the Spring Lake bucks and their swollen necks. Kind of made me nervous being so close.
