I'm NOT a Bochy fan... but it is a bit harsh to blame him for the poor performance.
The team on the field is NOT good. Sabean waited too long to start the rebuilding, IMO.
The starting pitching looks impressive, but the offense is weak, the defense shaky, and the bullpen mediocre at best.
How many managers that can win with this many holes?
On the positive side, we have young position players a couple years away from being good or better (Sandoval, Burriss, etc), and others several years away from potentially being great (Buster Posey, Villalona, etc).
We also have additional great pitching prospects coming up, which gives us the option of trading either Cain or preferably Sanchez for a big bat in the off-season. Lincecum should remain untouchable-- he is our future as long as he stays healthy.
