Alaska enters its 50th-anniversary year in the glow of an improbable and highly memorable event: the nomination of Gov. Sarah Palin as the Republican vice presidential candidate. For the first time ever, an Alaskan is making a serious bid for national office, and in doing so she brings broad attention and recognition not only to herself, but also to the state she leads.

On the most important issue of the day, Sen. Obama is a clear choice.

It does make one wonder if Palin is not as popular in AK as she is made out to be.

Then again, it is the media... which by and large seems to have its own agenda.

Being an anal orifice again? If we follow your logic then Democrats never tax the people, never put riders on bills and are not some of the biggest pork barrel spenders. They also support the 2nd Amendment without restrictions and equivocation, believe in the free practice clause of the first amendment without restrictions and follow the constitution in terms of the economy without blaming the President for the economy.

But, you obviously have no idea what logic is, or you use fuzzy logic, because when a paper in Alaska is owned by someone in Sacramento, I doubt that they are endorsing a candidate based on what Alaskans feel. So get over yourself. Your just not that smart.
