Now, one would think it was a Democrat who would want to make California a right to work state. After all, they are the party of the people, right? I mean, they are more for the workers then anyone, right? Nobody understands the poor, down trodden worker then Democrats, right?
What a bunch of horse shit.
Democrats were instrumental in keeping California from becoming a right to work state. How many of you knew that? Yep, history is a funny thing, it reveals many truths over the years. Like the truth that it was a Republican who wanted to make this a right to work state. It was a Republican who was looking out for the workers. It was a Republican who was looking out for the people. And, it was a Republican who understood the poor, down trodden worker. The Democrats dumped on them and prevented passage of the law.
That's right. History is cool. The son of the original owner of the Oakland Tribune, William F. Knowland. Former Senator, Republican and native Californian, born and died in his home state.

One of the great consequences of dramatically declining union membership is the drop in automatic Dem. voting blocs.

Why do you think they keep constantly expanding the government employee payroll? All those worker bees are forced to contribute to a union (often the emminently corrupt SEIU at the local and county level) which then uses their dues for whatever Democrat party political agenda suits them.

I just enjoy pointing out that the biggest liars in government have D after their names. Republicans work for the people, but no one notices. Then the Democrats give lip service to the issues that the people want solved, get elected and do nothing but increase taxes.
