Bolverk, you always have some scare tactic to throw out there. First it was "spreading the wealth" and now it's this idea of a "national police force." The truth is, socialist tactics are sometimes called for, like Bush's reluctant nationalizing of banks. It's your pigheaded stubbornness that doesn't allow you to see the forest for the trees. To make America a better place we have to undo the havoc that Bush has wrought upon our once great nation.

Surefire, Bush's approval rating is now worse than Carter at his lowest, Nixon at his lowest, and even Truman at his lowest. There is little doubt that he is indeed the worst President in history. Take a look: Bandwidth killer courteously removed by replier. He has dragged the image of the Republican party down with him. It will be a long time before America elects another Republican to the highest office in the land. Gosh, your man got elected and all you poor democrats can do to keep attacking someone is to harp on Bush, as is in your very nature, as a democrat never saw anything they cannot fix even if it is not broken. It must really piss you off that Bush has had the highest approval rating in the history of this country as well. Obama will never reach that level. EVER. 92% approval. But, Congress, by juxtaposition, is only 18% still in the cellar over the last two years. But everyone blames the Republicans of course. But most of them don't understand jack shit about their own country anyway. Like you suanterelle. Clueless.

To make America a better place we have to undo the havoc that Bush has wrought upon our once great nation. Ah, my pigheaded stubbornness. I suppose that it was not Obama who said, "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Gee, sounds an awful lot like Herman Göring, Hitler's designated successor and commander of the Luftwaffe. But then I suppose you never heard of the Geheime Staatspolizei (Secret State Police) or Gestapo for short. Deny that. Unlike the lie about what Sarah Palin said about Africa or NAFTA, this is a documented statement said by our President Elect, Barack Hussein Obama, that anyone can find on the internet. And it is in the form of your favorite media, online video, so you can see his face while he says it.

Yep, when people are scared they turn to their commander in chief to lead them. Unfortunately, Bush proved himself incompetent and incapable to lead. That is what you're seeing as his approval rating drops each year since 2002.
Another scare tactic about Obama *sigh*. Soon we will see that Obama has more leadership skill in one of his fingernails than Bush showed throughout his entire Presidency. It's really like comparing apples to oranges.

Another scare tactic about Obama *sigh*. So what you're saying then is that B. Hussein is ALREADY resorting to "Scare" tactics? So you mean another scare tactic BY Obama? Since it's a DIRECT quote from the man.... You're so full of shit it's unreal. Just wait until Bidens "Predictions" come true....then we'll see his true colors. Rahm Emmanuel the "Pacifist" (BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA) as Chief Of Staff...it's gonna get ugly.

No, what was proven is that American people are ignorant of the functions of their government, nothing more. As I am sure you are aware, McCain did not loose because of Iraq, he lost because of the economy. But, like other ignorant Americans, you blame Bush, because you do not understand the basic functions of your own government. For two whole years we did not have a single important piece of legislation passed. Why is that? Because we had a congress that was attacking the President, instead of doing the peoples business. As a direct result of the Political Business cycle, we now have struggling investment firms, banks, real estate and automobile markets. This country was brought to the brink of financial ruin so one party could win the highest office in the land. Now, the question is, can they bring it back from the miscalculations they made when they attempted to discredit a President for their financial blunders. Now you can spew your Bush hate and tell me how wrong I am. That only the office of the President has control over bills that raise money, banks and interstate commerce. You would be wrong, but that won't stop you, will it.

Just did a quick review of legislation from the 110th congress. Not one bill on finance, housing or energy. Go figure.

I'm not "spewing Bush hate," I'm simply pointing out that the number of people who think he's doing a good job and leading America in the right direction has been trending downward since 2002. His unpopularity has surpassed Carter, Nixon during Watergate, and even Harry Truman! I am using this FACT to illustrate that Bush, indeed, is the worst President in recent history.
