Yes, us conservatives or neocons, which ever you prefer, we are different. Obama is our President, and we will not engage in the same diatribe as the left did. Vile hate and despicable lies permeated the lefts vitriolic rhetoric, we should set the example, even as we point out the failings in this Presidency. A good article on this topic.

From the opinion piece: "I will not seek to see all of his faults and none of his qualities."
I will not seek either of those, I will comment on what he shows to the public, be it fault or quality.
His qualitys are a gift for rhetoric almost unsurpassed since the great antebellum speakers and a charisma which may surpass Ronnies. Add to that political instincts honed in one of the harshest environments, the Chicago Machine, and you have a truely formidable politician.
also:
" Some of President Bush's harsh critics went beyond loyal opposition and engaged in angry, vile and mean-spirited hate."
And we never saw any of that here, did we? I expect that a lot of the critics of PRES. Bush will keep up their "angry, vile and mean-spirited hate" for a few more years. Look for the Dems to all be running against Bush in the midterms.

If they want to continue to run against Bush in two years... when they will have had control of the Congress for four years and the White House for two, let them.
They'll only get so far playing boogeyman politics when it is their hands fully and firmly on the wheel. The American people are not that stupid.
