John McCain has started the "re-branding" of Barak Obama. This is from The Hill: It never ceases to amaze me that some people think that the best way to revive an economy is to suck more money out of it through increased taxes. Everyone on this board got something in the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts. Yet, the progressives seem to think that they should keep theirs while "the rich" (said with a snarl) are forced to give theirs up. Earth to Saunterelle: Your taxes will go up.

I fully expect my taxes to go up but I also expect our economy to recover a la Bill Clinton 1992 - 2000. Also, I imagine most people would prefer another Carter term to another Bush term. Check out the poll results: www.usnews.com/usnews/news/worstpresidents/index.htm#content4 And he hasn't mentioned how he isn't running for a third Bush term since his policies are pretty much the same. Last year he voted 95% in lockstep with Bush.

I refer you to Article 1 Section 7 of the United States Constitution. Bill Clinton was not responsible for the economy from 1993 to 2001, it was the House of Representatives.

Don't confuse him by bringing the Constitution into it.
