there's a gal at work who is totally infatuated with obama. she speaks of him as though he actually is our saviour sent from above. whenever she complains about anything (gas prices, mortgage costs, her hair dresser, etc.) i like to tease and say something like, "well, you know in just about 12 days all our troubles will be over. isn't that exciting?" she usually gives me a shitty grin after that.
she told me today that after watching obama speak of his amazing economic plan this morning how exciting it was that we are all going to get $1000 checks. i laughed 'til it hurt.

Geez, it's been around for prit-near 30 years now. (28? 29? close enough). I figured these two pretty much sum up The Obamas 'vision' and plans. Offer about all the details he does, too.

.
Nope, nada, zero... I thought about posting a link to the type of music I like to listen to and then when I saw the corresponding videos I thought better of it. I like a lot of different music genres, but admittedly country music is not one of them. So, yes, my response was genuine.

So, just for kicks, I thought I would post a SMALL snippet of my musical taste which is hard to capture since I love music and enjoy a diverse range: I went to this concert in 5/06, at San Jose' HP Pavilion and it was fabulous! Oh my, my image has been altered forever...

subdjoe, my anti virus program wouldn't let me play the link. I am not familiar with the group. Don't tell anyone, but the link I'd posted was...(Madonna). I like that song because it reminded me of a fabulous day spent in Turkey driving through the Cappadocia region it was very sunny with the car windows down, wind blowing through our hair and local music playing loudly on the car's raido. It felt like we were in a movie, it was so surreal. I will forever remember it. www.cappadociaturkey.net/photos.htmWe stayed in the village of Güzelyurt: www.equitrekking.com/Blog-Entry/150/G%C3%BCzelyurt%2C-Turkey.html

Google R. A. Fish and you will find some of his work. Very impressive percussionist.
I thought that looked like Madonna, but I am so unfamiliar with pop culture that I wasn't sure. Personally I think that most of her work is VERY good. Well, maybe not her very early stuff. Plus she is pretty handy with a shotgun. Good lookin' women and guns - gotta love 'em.
