This really grates like fingernails on slate. When something goes really wrong, and some Pol, on TV says at the end of an explanation... "So that it never happens again".

OK, I can't hold this in. Yesterday when I went to vote in the afternoon, first thing I said to the poll workers was "You need to switch your flags." This was at about 4 in the afternoon. No one else had noticed that the US & CA flags were on the wrong side.
And, when driving in, I noticed that the hotel had 4 flags on the same hoist. And two were corporate flags. Went and bitched at the main desk about that after I had voted.

i hear ya, joe. it amazing how many folks don't take 5 minutes to find out how their supposed to be displayed. after all the bitchin' i did about a year or so ago(letters, phone calls) they finally corrected the line up in front of the PD building in rohnert park.

I too would have to say all the radio commercials for male enhancement, especially when they're on in the morning when dear old Dad is driving Junior to school. "Daddy, what is erectile dysfunction?" Also, all the F***ing, god***n cuss words they feel like they have to put in to nearly all of today's movies--and they want me to pay the better part of 20 bucks for a couple of tickets for me and my wife to sit on our a**es for two hours in the theater? Bulls**t! You get the idea. I go to the movie theater like once every 18 months if that often. The Service Employees International Union totally ticks me off too. SEIU Local 1021 proudly endorsed the communist flame-thrower Maddy Hirchfield for 5th District Supervisor. If it were up to the SEIU, California would become a full-blown Communist country, with greedy state workers working in soft government jobs and enjoying lavish pensions while the private sector working stiffs either have their taxes and fees go through the roof or move out of state if they can possibly do it.  Truth be told, we're already at least 90 percent there. |

Arghhhh, two mornings in a row, I have tailgaters following me I slow down because I refuse to accommodate them and start speeding. They don't want to pass either?! What is up with them??? |

Pet peeve: Having -7 karma points. I'm not sure whether to take that as an insult or as a sign that I'm making good arguments for my side, which is clearly underrepresented on this board.

Which questions have I not answered directly? Sometimes it is hard to keep up when I'm being bombarded on all sides.
My opinions are my own and I back them up with reports from objective sources whenever possible. As far as my general attitude, I think I am pretty cordial. Let's see, I've been called a liar, an idiot, a socialist, a fool, and worse. I have never called anyone names here except for telling someone they must be crazy if they believe that.
Point is, I'm not going to be this board's Alan Colmes who just sits there like a fool while outrageous comments are being made.
