The IRS is allowing illegals to obtain stolen Social Security Numbers and pay taxes with them, while not reporting them. This is a violation of the identity theft laws and makes the IRS culpable in every case.

Here is an interesting bit from that first piece: "The campaign is causing concern at the I.R.S., which says illegal immigrants paid almost $50 billion in taxes from 1996 to 2003, and among immigrants’ rights groups, which call the operation a thinly disguised attempt to root out illegal immigrants. "

So, they pay about $6.25 billion/year in taxes. How much do they take out of the system in medical care, schools, etc?

The Greeley Tribune Story reveals much more. At an average of $2,000 per return, they have 1,300 people who they know committed identity theft and received a return. That is $2,600,000 in returns based on an average of $800 paid in from payroll which netted $1,040,000 in taxes. That is a net of $1,560,000 in unearned returns just for this one raid. Forget about all the other things, this is a huge problem on its own.

Gotta love this quote, "Everybody thinks it’s so wonderful that illegals are paying taxes," she said, "but what they don’t understand is filing taxes is not the same as paying taxes."

This doesn't surprise me one bit. The illegals are already getting everything else either free or reduced..why not free money just for filing a tax return?

Maybe they can get some tips from Obama's appointees who are not paying their taxes?
