www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/san-francisco-to-vote-on-naming-sewer-after-george-bush-855433.htmlsnip> However, Mr McConnell claimed to have only noticed two forms of opposition during his campaign so far. "First, we get people who say they just want to forget George Bush's presidency," he said. "Second, we hear from those who say that sewage plants perform a valuable public service and, as such, it does not make sense to name one after George Bush." _________________________________________________ Gee, do you think he'll visit, dress in appropriate garb, pun intended.........

i would expect nothing less juvenile, repulsive, ridiculous, inane, or petty from the fine denizens of SF.

Yet another reason that I often feel shame when ever I recall that I was born and raised in the city. It was a lot different place back then. The Democrats ran the town, as they still do. But the Democrats back then you could make a deal with. Now it's simply a case of inmates calling themselves Democrats running an ever larger asylum.

Though I doubt anyone in the City notices, I have boycotted that cesspool since they elected Willie Brown. Who would have thought it could have been worse then when he was in office.

Lol. I think it's funny. It's a harmless way for San Franciscans to express their disgust with how Bush has run our country for the past 8 years.

Well then, perhaps it is time for real Californians to honor San Francisco in a similar fashion. We could have mock fire and brimstone raining down on city hall.

So having that sense of humor in mind, can we expect the city and county to show what they (should) think of the back to back fiscal / social disasters that have been the Brown and Newsom administrations by naming public toilet kiosks on Market Street "Gavin" and "Willie"? It would be only right to honor them that way since they produce the political poop and a sewage plant named after Bush would be in charge of cleaning up the mess.

I'm not defending anyone here, however, one could see the same, if not a worse level of criminal behavior with the people in the White House and its' loyalists..... As for SF finding a way to deal with the last years in honoring Bush with his name for the world to see, being an international city and all........what else could they have thought of?? It's been a long 8 years and for most, it will continue. There are those who have been driven to homelessness and they have no where to poop. These people may not even reside in SF, but will appreciate the scene or a picture of it.

FIRST I would like to say: THIS IN NO WAY SOUNDS LIKE A VERY BAD CASE OF BUSH DERANGEMENT SYNDROME...Not at all..LOL. Ahh yes because becoming homeless is ENTIRELY the fault of the United States President. And there is no such thing as PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY in liberal land. Hey like I have said before I know when B. Hussein Takes Office EVERYTHING WILL MIRACULOUSLY ---INSTANTLY BE ALL BETTER FOR EVERYONE.....Well everyone except those of us doing well now ..deemed rich and lazy... OBAMA PROMISES: Factories Powered Solely By ----->LOVE & CHANGE Unicorn Factories !!! He's bringing them back again POWERED BY LOVE & CHANGE And the EVER POPULAR STRAWBERRY SCENTED WELFARE CHECKS!!!! It's like the mc-rib coming back the excitement is palpable... But seriously what would you expect from the most useless joke of a city in the country?? Anything less? The poor sick residents of this city need the government to step in and begin spraying antibiotics on the city. A little bleach in the gene pool woud be nice.

The minimum wage in San Francisco is $9.38 per hour, why do they have any homeless?

Big Dog: "Now it's simply a case of inmates calling themselves Democrats running an ever larger asylum. " I'm not defending anyone here, however, one could see the same, if not a worse level of criminal behavior with the people in the White House and its' loyalists..... Is it even remotely possiible for you to debate a single point on it's own merits without trying to re-purpose the discussion into a Bush Bash? Apparently the question was answered before I could ask it. Please ask yourself... for a moment, why are there so many homeless people in San Francisco. Remembering that they chose to be in a city that is so cold and damp that Mark Twain opined that the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. Why do the homeless come there in droves. It's simple really... the city offers money and handouts that can't be obtained anywhere else. There is also the consideration, expressed to me one evening when we were trying to move some of them out of Golden Gate Park, that they are subject to almost no control and can pretty much do what they want. The lunatics who are running San Francisco... the same ones who are subverting federal immigration laws by hustling juvenile illegal immigrant offenders out of the country to avoid formal deportation proceedings, are to blame for the messes they find in their own fouled nests. Willie Brown, followed by the excerable misogynist Gavin Newsom, have led what was a cosmopolitan and tolerant city into fiscal bankruptcy and a place where pretty much anything (including bodily functions on the street corner) goes. Don't believe me... let's ask Gavin himself what he's most interested in. You can't blame any of that on Bush, and you constantly trying to only demonstrates the shallowness of modern liberal thinking.

Big Dog, SF made this a Bush bash. Besides, you poked your fun at SF politicians too, no? "Equal Pasquale"....as Ricky Ricardo said to Lucy. I think SF found a rather creative way to "shake it off", so to speak. Peace.
