No, it was your President, George W. Bush, who subverted our constitution with the "Patriot Act" and took away our freedoms. Which freedom or liberty did Clinton, or has Obama, taken away?

No, it was an almost fully untied CONGRESS that must claim that piece of shit USAPATRIOT Act. About the only good thing in it are the provisions that make it easier for the various intellegence agencies to share information. This is a perfect example of why emotionalism makes for bad law. And just about every piece of anti-gun legislation is based on the same kind of fear mongering emotion that the USAPATRIOT Act was based on. A lot of your socialist heros voted in favor of it. But then, truth doesn't mean crap to you. So take you Bush Bashing adn blow it out your ass.

Bush could have whipped out his veto pen and vetoed it the moment is crossed his desk. Instead, he signed into law a power grab that was carefully engineered by his administration.
New Guy, check the thread about the Patriot Act for your answer. And how about answering my question for a change?

All of them, including your socialist heros had their fingers in it. So again, blow your Bush Bashing out your as, you hypocrite. Lordy, no wonder we are in such a mess in CA, we have worthless, know nothings like you voting.

No, it was your President, George W. Bush, who subverted our constitution with the "Patriot Act" and took away our freedoms. Which freedom or liberty did Clinton, or has Obama, taken away? I see you understand nothing about the collectivism you support. Bush did not push us towards a collective, like every administration in every war, he passed some bad legislation in order to protect this nation. It was supported by a vast majority of congress and passed on a bipartisan vote. So your assertions are not only disengenuous, they have absolutely nothing to do with socialism or collectivism. Your rantings about Bush merely stem from your desire to misdirect everyone else from the fact that you are indeed a staunch neocommunist. You do not believe in debate. You do not believe in a plurality. You believe in one thing and one thing only. Collectivism. The runiation of the individual to the advancement of the collective. That is exactly why you never address the issue. Instead you seize upon Bush as a defense against even having to address the fact that everything you espouse is based in government control of resources, lives, medicine, pay rates, business, etc., etc. You are 100% neocommunist, the only difference between you and the communists of old is that you now include gender and sexuality in your manefesto and doctrine.

[And I apologize but which "Freedoms" EXACTLY did YOU "Lose" on the deal? Any time we cede more power to the government we all lose freedom. Maybe not directly, maybe not instantly, but it will happen.

Agreed but there are certain powers the Government should have or had all along. And then there is also the appropriate "Sunsetting" of laws once they are no longer necessary...YES I realize THAT is an extremely tough call and rarely happens....BUT if our government ran like it was "Supposed" to.... And again I'll ask you now Joe and Sunturtle, did you lose "Freedoms" from the Patriot Act?

I should have the freedom to converse in private.
