what the hell is wrong with this cat? never before has a president done such a piss-poor job while in office and never before has a former president done so much to discredit himself and the title after leaving office.
i think it's time for ol' jimmy to retire to a rocking chair on the front porch at the peanut farm.

I agree, and with a glass of lemonade or iced tea.

Jimmah Cahtah easily ranks as the worst President ever. From deep-sixing the economy to a level not seen since, to giving away the Panama Canal, to abandoning allies worldwide, to allowing the first & worst modern Islamist state to be born, to boycotting the 1980 Olympics. I have yet to hear of a single accomplishment of his disastrous term that benefited the US. A train wreck w/no survivors is a picnic compared to the 39th Pres.'s mercifully single term. Since being booted from office he has actively worked at home & abroad to sabotage any action or policy with which he disagrees. He has provided endless aid, comfort & support to our enemies. He has essentially called for the end of Israel as a functioning state. It's a toss-up between Jimmah & Bubba as to who is the biggest laughingstock; The Peanut Farmer or The Boy President. Oh, and their wives both redefine selfish, bitter & angry to whole new levels. And B. Hussein Obama's plan looks a lot like Jimmah's! Change you've already sampled!

He was a better President than either Nixon or GW Bush.

Saunterelle, that is just a foolish thing to say. Jimmy Carter had no issues during his presidency at all, except the one he caused. Iran. Jimmy Carter is just plain dumb. He was a lousy President when I served under him during my time in the military.
And, he is an anti-American who would climb in bed with his enemies just to try an win an election. No matter how much footsy he played with the Kremlin, he still could not defeat Ronald Reagan, thank God.

"is just plain dumb. He was a lousy President when I served under him during my time in the military." Funny, the same would be said by countless soldiers today about GW Bush. Talk about dumb!? Every time Bush opens his mouth something dumb comes out. He butchers our language, stumbles in speeches, shows tremendous lack of confidence, and is basically overwhelmed by the job. Here's a balanced analysis of Bush's intelligence: youtube.com/watch?v=whhbPVrb5KM&feature=related

He was a better President than either Nixon or GW Bush. That statement, while an opinion to which you are entitled, is completely ignorant of history. Sorry, but I gotta call them like I see them.

His Uncle helped liberate Buchenwald. But, it's oaky that he was twisting the truth a little or did he just mis-speak? Either is a sin in your book. So let's hear your diatribe against the man who was playing against the facts, trying to tie his Uncle to the more famous death camp. Political ploy or stupidity? Which is it?

You forgot his saying that there are 57 states, Bolverk. Not to mention his lack of grasp of the duties of the several branches of the federal government. And of the limits the Constitution places on the feds. Or, if he does understand, then his utter disregard for the Constitution, and his willingness to destroy it in order to further his socialist agenda.
Interesting that the guy who is a professional news reader stumbled and stuttered a few times in reading his prepared stuff. Does that make him an idiot, Saunterelle? By your reasoning, it does. Yet he is allowed to be up there shaping the opinion of the American people. Some people just plain don't do well off the cuff or in front of cameras. Did you bother to watch that piece that you posted the link for? Or did you just see the title of it and think that it would support your (or should I say the powerful socialist lobbys) point of view? And did you pic up the statements from around 3:50 to about 5:00 on that youtube piece? Actually, pretty much the comments from that point on suggest a pretty shrewd guy sitting in the white house. And, point up a long term bias against Rebublican presidents. Which comments the talking head ignored.
So, go ahead, keep parrotting moveon and and feasting on the socialist 'lets give away the nation' agenda.

Well, since I am anyone, and I have reviewed the numbers, then perhaps you can explain why Nixon, having lower numbers then Bush, was actually more popular then Bush. Or, maybe you can explain how Carter, having the same low point in numbers as Bush, is still more popular then Bush. When you really get down to it, neither Carter nor Nixon ever had as high an approval rating as Bush, who enjoyed the highest approval rating ever for a President as well.

Right and the junior Senator never goofs? And would NOT be overwhelmed by the job?
Bwaaahahahahahahaaa
Remember the time B. Hussein Obama Said -
"In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed." --on a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people
OOPS sounds "Overwhelmed" by JUST THE NEWS OF THE DAY in one state let alone the globe, since he cannot keep it straight..
"Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions." --exasperated by reporters after a news conference --- SOUNDS "LIKE" SUPER DUPER Presidential ....dude.. 8 WHOLE questions? Wow, not overwhelmed by eight questions was he....
"It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." --explaining his troubles winning over some working-class voters
NOPE NOT A PLAIN AND SIMPLE "DUMB" Comment at all........Shows superior intellect for sure. /sarcasmoff
"Why can't I just eat my waffle?" --after being asked a foreign policy question by a reporter while visiting a diner in Pennsylvania OH I DON'T KNOW maybe because you want to be President of the USA ....Nah that doesn't even sound remotely dumb...oh wait yes it does.
"I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go." --at a campaign event in Beaverton, Oregon ---
Uh yeah I want to be President but I have NO IDEA how many states there are...in the country I want to be President of. ----On a side note I bet he can tell you how many countries are in Africa..or states/provinces in Velenzuela...
Hold on one second, sweetie, we're going to do -- we'll do a press avail." --to a female reporter for ABC's Detroit affiliate who asked about his plan to help American autoworkers --EEEEEP OUCH Trying to be nice/cute or not...you think he mis-spoke?
No, this guy will certainly NEVER make a mistake or mis-speak..BUT remember IF he ever does he must be dumb....
