I wonder is what going to come from Palin's scandal.
If they prove she tried to use her Govenor title to fire the deputy, her reputation may go down the drain.

What scandal?
She fired, within her constitutional authority, the state director of public safety for other reasons and now he is trying to smear her over her ex-brother in law. That dude, an Alaska State Trooper, has been prewviously disciplined for drinking on the job, hunting out of season and Tasering a ten year old nephew. An aide of hers suggested that this guy no longer needed to be a trooper and she says the aide was not acting on her behalf.
The "investigation" is being fronted by pissed off Alaska Democrats, and a few of the old guard (and corrupt) Republicans.
It ought to be nothing.

I believe she has been picked solely for her oil interest. You believe that because you are a narrow minded partisan.

The most important point here is that Palin has experience as an executive in government. As the Mayor and, later, the governor, she had the final authority over budgets and executive decisions. Contrast that with Obama's meager experience as the freshman senator from Illinois, and Biden's 30+ years as a Master Debator in the Senate. Neither of them have ever had to hold the final responsibility for anything, other than which coffee to get. In David Freddoso's book, The Case Against Barack Obama, he says that Obama may be the first reform candidate who gets elected without any real reform accomplishments.

You forgot the 'big thing' of using her power. The trooper told the sister, "If you get a lawyer, I'll go over your father's house and kill him", which is a violation of the penal code. So we have a cop, capable and able, giving motive, with clear intent. he hears this and picks up the phone, does her job, and now she is accused of 'undue influence'. What has me cracking up is that the progressive side has had four days to come up with dirt on her.....between vapor news (her daughter had the Down's baby and Sara is covering), the scandal of her husband's DUI when he was 22 (unlike Ted Kennedy's driving record which was washed clean), their 17 year old being pregnant (the boy will marry her now), I think McCain choose & shows 100% alignment in good old American values and it is driving progressives up their collective. She's more executive experience to be VP as does Obama to be POTUS. My goodness, it could NOT be clearer (we got a icon that shows the shaking-of-head-in-the-clarity-of-it-all?)

Her husband's DUI also happened to be two years before they married.... like it matters.
The left continues to grasp at straws because they don't dare attack her on the issues lest they get their asses handed to them.

If mccain/palin win and something happens to mccain (the odds are great there), she would be our president. That, in itself worries me and confirms the mccain's lack of judgement.

Gaffney: "The most important point here is that Palin has experience as an executive in government. As the Mayor and, later, the governor, she had the final authority over budgets and executive decisions." _________________________________________
Please bear in mind that as she may have had these positions and still is governor, Alaska is the least populated state in the US. I don't call that experience or rather, " not enough" to take on the VP much less, the president, should anything happen to mccain.

Big Dog, do you have a link regarding her irresponsible ex- brother-in -law??

like deleware is?
the difference between her and the other 3 candidates is that she is the ONLY one with executive experience. did you get that? she is the ONLY one with executive experience. aside from that it makes no difference really how populated a state is. the gov of one state has the same responsibilities/duties as another. only the numbers are different.
your silly argument holds no water. please feel free to try again.
