Given her severe lack of foreign policy experience I wonder what she would do if terrorists were to attack us again. With her Creationist/Armageddon beliefs about the world, and her itchy trigger finger while moose hunting, I am terrified at the thought of Palin being our Commander In Chief. Well, then you are a wimp. And a wimp is un-American, right? Come on, is that the best you've got? 19 terrorist hijackers from Saudi Arabia kill over 2000 innocent U.S. citizens on U.S. soil and our response is to attack Iraq. That knee jerk reactionary "punch back" made us the laughing stock of the world. If Sarah Palin has to make the call and makes another tragic blunder it would be inexcusable and would probably lead to the complete collapse of America as we know it. Now ask yourself, would you really trust her to make the right decision?

19 terrorist hijackers from Saudi Arabia kill over 2000 innocent U.S. citizens on U.S. soil and our response is to attack Iraq. It was 3,000 innocent citizens, Saunterelle. Even you should remember that fact. You will also recall that our response was to attack Afghanistan because the Taliban government there refused to oust al Qaeda. You may also recall from your scholarly reading of the 9/11 Commission's report that contingency plans for attacking Afghanistan and Iraq had been in place for years, ordered up under the previous administration, so were ready to roll out on short notice. You will also recall that, post-9/11, the rules changed: Those who harbor or support terrorists were also warned of impending action. Khaddafi saw that and gave up his weapons in a heartbeat. Saddam was given over 6 months to come clean on his WMD plans, following 10 years of sanctions by the UN. Why did he allow his country to be destroyed rather than come clean? Please give us your definition of "dire consequences." America is still the most formidable power, both economically and militarily, in the world. When Russia invaded Georgia, did France send non-military aid to Georgia? How successful has the African Union been in stifling the genocide in Sudan? Face it, Saunterelle, those who profess to "hate" the US (including you?) would be the first to look to the US for help in a time of emergency. Putting aside for the moment the fact that Palin is running for Vice President, not President, yes, I would trust her more than I would trust the man-child, empty suit that the Democrat Party has sent up this year. Perhaps Obama could draw on his extensive experience as a community organizer in order to face down a nuclear-armed Iran.

Obviously, with his bold decision today to actually do the job for which he was elected, J. Sydney McCain does not fear B. Hussein Obama. If he remembers where his seat in the Senate is, The One should be doing his job too. Or He can go to Oxford Miss. & debate himself. I'm sure he can be on both sides of an issue very easily. It seems He & Biden already are. Regularly.

I'm sure his experience as a community organizer wouldn't hurt but he'd be better served by his experience in these areas:
As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Obama made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In August 2005, he traveled to Russia, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan. The trip focused on strategies to control the world's supply of conventional weapons, biological weapons, and weapons of mass destruction as a first defense against potential terrorist attacks.<61>
Following meetings with U.S. military in Kuwait and Iraq in January 2006, Obama visited Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian territories.
He left for his third official trip in August 2006, traveling to South Africa, Kenya, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Chad. In a nationally televised speech at the University of Nairobi, he spoke forcefully on the influence of ethnic rivalries and corruption in Kenya.
Obama also introduced the "Iraq War De-Escalation Act", a bill to cap troop levels in Iraq, begin phased redeployment, and remove all combat brigades from Iraq before April 2008.<68>
Later in 2007, Obama sponsored with Kit Bond (R-MO) an amendment to the 2008 Defense Authorization Act adding safeguards for personality disorder military discharges, and calling for a review by the Government Accountability Office following reports that the procedure had been used inappropriately to reduce government costs.
joined Chuck Hagel (R-NE) in introducing legislation to reduce risks of nuclear terrorism.A provision from the Obama-Hagel bill was passed by Congress in December 2007 as an amendment to the State-Foreign Operations appropriations bill.
Obama also sponsored a Senate amendment to the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) to provide one year of job protection for family members caring for soldiers with combat-related injuries. After passing both houses of Congress with bipartisan majorities, SCHIP was vetoed by President Bush in early October 2007, a move Obama said "shows a callousness of priorities that is offensive to the ideals we hold as Americans."

It would be better if The One hid Biden instead. Those 2 are rarely on the same page of the teleprompter.

This is truly incredible and I'd like to hear your comments.
The McCain campaign wants to postpone Friday's Presidential debate until Oct. 2nd which happens to be the date the VP debate is supposed to take place. They want to suspend the VP debate indefinitely.
They seem to know that Sarah Palin is an inexperienced empty shell and want to keep her inaccessible until after the election. If the American people fall for this blatant ploy I will have no sympathy when our country is driven into the ground.

You know, this thead has gotten me to wondering - where the hell IS good ol' Joe Biden? Why isn't he more in the news? Why is Barry-boy keeping him under wraps? Why is Barry afraid to let Biden out in public?

Interesting.... so McCain says he wants to go back to Washington and do the job the citizens of his state elected him to in the teeth of a major financial crisis that (according to the left) imperils our economic well being. Sounds kind of like "leadership" to me.
Amazing just how deeply into identity politics the attack dogs of the left are willing to go.

He said "No clean coal" in America after B.H.O. said there would be. He said "No AIG bailout" after B.H.O.said it was a good idea. He said "frankly, she might have been a better choice" after Obama named him his Veep & Sarah was named Mac's Veep.
Those could be reasons he is no longer visible.
