for someone you claim to have "known" most of your life you really don't seem to "know" much about her at all. is it possible you are inventing examples to fit your agenda much like joe biden? No, I 'm not making this up. It really is true and we don't talk politics......if anything, we would discuss fashion, spa parties, luas, recipes, decorating, social get togethers.....etc

Not that much more proof is needed of Senator Obama's rather overt socialist leanings, but here it is anyway. Connecting the dots is always a fun game to play.

Isn't that what's happening currently? Mccain isn't about to change the current policy and people are in financial stagnation and can't afford a plumber as it is. This Joe or Samuel character just didn't bring home the point. So we should drive prices up further since it is happening already? Right now we are going through a major correction, which is going to be very painful for us. But you want to add to the pain by making prices rise even further by taxing corporations at a higher rate. Well, I have news for you, corporations do not pay taxes, the consumers of their goods do.

Well, exalt number 20 TBD. Good post. I figured exalting you was more productive the smiting saunterelle. You won't whine about an exalt. Careful now... someone might think you were my cheerleader. ;D Nah, though I do think Don Rickles was very funny. You have just been on a roll lately, and you deserve the credit.

What video have you been watching? "Joe the Plumber" publicly pantsed Barack in that exchange. He demonstrated very clearly what I've been saying all along.... the clothes have no emperor. He asked honest, to the point questions. Barack equivocated, then backstroked into socialist wonk speak to try and get out of it, making the point that "Joe" was trying to make in the first place... that Barack is going to raise taxes a helluva lot more than he has been letting on in his "plans". That should be very troubling to voters in the current economic climate.... at least to the ones that can actually remember back as far as the Carter presidency. First, Joe or Samuel was dishonest to represent himself as a plumber, not to mention, he owes back taxes. Barack didn't change anything and is steadfast in saying from the get go that he will be taxing. Nothing new there. It is the phrase, "speading the wealth" that irritates some, but Bush spread the wealth as well, no? He spread the wealth to the the top 2-3 %, basically his crony friends and others like Clinton-likes, who just happen to fit in that bracket. What troubles me is that after every Republican admin., it takes a Democrat to fix the deficit and this time, it is a doozy. It ususally comes in the form of raising taxes. I like the way you attack Joe the Plumber, rather then listen to his concerns. Democrats have spent more time attacking this man then addressing his question and Barrack's reply. Barrack wants to take money and divide it among the have-nots who pissed away their futures partying rather then studying.

you guys make it sound like families everywhere are eating out of garbage bins. do you know ANYONE who is "finacially stagnant" to that point? of course you don't but you believe it is happening because you were told that. incredible! it doesn't matter if joe is really sam or sam is really bob. it doesn't matter if sam, joe, and bob are plumber, carpenters, or carpet cleaners. the point is that obama is going to raise taxes. plain and simple. sure, he says it will only be on those who earn over 250k for now. wait until he figures out that the coffers will still be short (thanks to rampant pork projects in congress) and that he will then need to overtax those who make 200k...... then 175k..... etc., etc., etc. clinton also promised a "middle class tax cut." do you remember what happened with that??? I actually do know people who have lost all their savings in the recent weeks, some who've lost substancial amounts of their retirement (these people were in good shape financially)....and yes, also people who are in dire straits that aren't eating. One lady in particular, a friend I've known most of my life, just lost her entire nest egg. She never had children, or got married. She worked many years and retired from Hewlett/Packard (Agilent), is on disability, reattending college and now is so bitter because after this lifetime of choices, she has nothing to look forward to except greeting people at Walmart. I have been volunteering at a local food bank in the last few years. In the beginning I watched as some walk in and grab a few items just for themselves. It then became families and these ones aren't poor. Both parents work and they have small children. I help organize the food and try and make sure it is distributed equally. I see the loads of food become smaller as more people look for ways to help ends meet. Unemployment is up, as is crime and more people need to go on programs they would never have dreamt they would ever need. Do you think these people will look Joe Schmoe up in the yellow pages? Where's the Draino?? Too bad the Democrats wasted two years attacking the President just to soften up the American people for this election, rather then passing legislation that would have curbed the outcome they ignored for the last two years. That is the reality of what we are witnessing, like it or not. The Democrats spent two years playing politics with the financial futures of all Americans and now we see the results.

So, you are admitting the country is in a mess. This mess is the result of Bush's tax cuts to the rich......interesting.
He indeed had a good question, but it wasn't true. He gave a hypothetical and Obama's answer would have helped him in that hypothetical situation, not hurt him, so what are you talking about? I'm not sure how this tax evader will be able to help himself now??!
You seem to forget they weren't the only ones in Congress wasting precious time, not to mention their majority is not filibuster or veto proof. It only confirms how Republicans have been taking this country in the current predicament we are in. All this time, it was for the oil and war mongerers.

So, you are admitting the country is in a mess. This mess is the result of Bush's tax cuts to the rich......interesting. No. The country is in a mess because Democrats were protecting Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac, as were many Republicans. However, everyone knows who benefited the most, it is public record that it was Dodd, Obama and Kerry in that order. He indeed had a good question, but it wasn't true. He gave a hypothetical and Obama's answer would have helped him in that hypothetical situation, not hurt him, so what are you talking about? I'm not sure how this tax evader will be able to help himself now??! You get a smite for this statement. Obama is a grown man and he was canvasing the neighborhood. Joe did not seek him out, it was the other way around. Also, he is not a tax evader. Unlike the federal government and California, Ohio sends out no notice of over due taxes, so you are presenting a false picture and smearing this mans name. If you want to see tax evaders, real ones, go the California Franchise Tax Boards Website and see what real tax evaders are. Just like the largest tax evader in history, who was pardoned by a Democrat President, William J. Clinton. What a message that sends. You seem to forget they weren't the only ones in Congress wasting precious time, not to mention their majority is not filibuster or veto proof. It only confirms how Republicans have been taking this country in the current predicament we are in. All this time, it was for the oil and war mongerers. No, I do not forget. However, with the level of hatred, vitriol and constant attacks from the left on the office of the President, one would think they would show us via action what a real politician is supposed to do when they are trusted by the people. THEY FAILED THE TEST. They have shown that they are no different then the Democrats we booted out of office in the 1980's after having 14 years of super majorities. Petty little people with their own personal interests at heart and not the well being of the people. But you are short sighted, as are most Americans it seems. Time will prove me right, because a Democrat never saw a tax they didn't like or want to raise, period, end of story.
