I think Biden is an excellent pick. He is a fiery old white guy who will be a perfect "attack dog," and he believes strongly in Democratic, working-class values. He will leave McCain in a stupor with the impassioned, fierce attacks that Obama is reluctant to make because Americans are scared of an "agressive" black guy. As an old white guy who has spent 30 years in the senate, he is perfect for the role.
It was downright pathetic when Bush whipped America into a patriotic, flag-waving frenzy to go fight his war in Iraq. After our "shock and awe" bombardment we found that Iraq's WMDs (the entire basis of our war) were nonexistent. America instantly became the laughing stock of the world. Now our economy is in the toilet and we are in sucking on China's tit after 8 years of Bush's "spend, spend, spend" policies. John Sidney McCain voted in lock step with Bush last year and this is the guy you want to lead us? Come on, how gullible are you?
Now the American people are being whipped into a refreshingly new frenzy. However, this time we will see results that benefit us all and reestablish our standing in the world. It's time for responsible leaders who will look out for us and propel our country into the 21st century. It's time for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

I would have thought The One would pick somebody whose last name didn't make the campaign bumper stickers look like they said "Osama Bin Laden" (Obama Biden) when glanced at on the highway. Joe has always been good for saying some jaw-droppingly inappropriate thing whenever the spirit moves him. I'm confident he won't disappoint.

McCain is in serious trouble if that's the best you've got!

I'm serious, that too tight Che shirt is really putting a damper on your capacity to actually THINK! AND NO I WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR TIRED ANSWER OF.... "well those weren't THE SPECIFIC WMD's Colin Powell bla bla bla...." A WMD IS A WMD...

If we had found ANY WMDs in Iraq it would have been plastered on the front of every newspaper in the world and America would have regained some dignity. Unfortunately, it's just not true. You're trying to argue that something we found over there could potentially be used to make WMDs but that isn't a strong argument. We went to war on the premise that Iraq was a threat to the U.S. who was armed and ready, but that turned out to be false. Now we're left eating crow. Face it.

Saunterelle, Your UTTER FAILURE to UNDERSTAND
THAT MUSTARD GAS IS A WMD...
Is Purely YOUR utter FAILURE the rest of the world knows mustard gas (which we found) is IN AND OF ITSELF A WMD...just ask the Kurds...
Again for the learning impaired..or the refuse to believe crowd..
Consider these shocking facts:
• Found: 1.77 metric tons of enriched uranium
• Found: 1,500 gallons of chemical weapons ------------>>THESE ARE WMDS
• Found: Roadside bomb loaded with sarin gas -------->>SARIN = WMD
• Found: 1,000 radioactive materials--ideal for radioactive dirty bombs
• Found: 17 chemical warheads--some containing cyclosarin, a nerve agent five times more powerful than sarin --------------->>>AGAIN WMD

Simple question: If those are WMDs then why does Bush himself admit that no WMDs were found? See for yourself at the 24 second mark:

Saunterelle, if Bush is such a liar, why did he admit that the world was wrong in assuming that Saddam still had WMDs? Why didn't Bush just plant some yellow warheads and publicize their finding widely? Why haven't you read the pertinent portions of the Dulfer Report, which said that Saddam had succeeded in taking his WMD production underground, to be revicved as soon as no one was looking? What do you think happened to the WMDs that UNSCOM found in 1996, and again in 1998? You totally ignore that fact that the whole world believed Saddam had WMDs. How else would you explain the string of resolutions from the UN Security Council, demanding that Saddam prove that he had destroyed his WMDs or face "dire consequences"? I believe that I have posed this question to you before, but you have never answered it: Please give us your interpretation of "dire consequences." Jon Stewart is the best you could come up with?

I believe that I have posed this question to you before, but you have never answered it: Please give us your interpretation of "dire consequences." Why didn't he "plant" some warheads? Well, for one, maybe because the world was watching our every move in Iraq. How easy do you think it would be to "plant" a warhead. If Bush suspected that Saddam simply moved the WMDs underground why didn't he offer that as an excuse for us not finding them? The truth is we have exhausted our search and the WMDs are nowhere to be found. This is old news, admit it and move on.

Saunterelle, you did not address my question about the string of UN Security council resolutions, most of which predated Bush's presidency, or the question about the meaning of "dire consequences." Answer those two questions, and I'll be ready to move on with you.

The UN Security Council demanded that Saddam prove he destroyed his weapons making capabilities. He did. That is why we weren't surprised to find the stuff (ingredients) that mrroqout listed. Everyone knew he had that stuff, hence, no front page news.
Even if the whole world agreed that he had WMDs in 2001, Bush was the one who decided to create a state of fear and go in and bomb. Therefore, he is the one who takes the blame, pure and simple. Had it been Clinton, you would have been all over him!
The Jon Stewart clip was just the intro. Keep watching, you missed all the good parts.
