Thanks, you've just revealed the shortcoming of conservatism in the 21st century. Your isolationist viewpoint should have been left in the 20th. If America wants to remain a superpower in the foreseeable future, we must recognize that our world is becoming increasingly globalized. It DOES matter what the rest of the world thinks of us. McCain is clearly out of touch and misses this point, and so do you.

What a clown show. The rest of "the world" is FAR from globalizing get a clue. One tiny area becomes the EU (which is failing) and the "world is globalizing?"..

The EU is failing?? Is that why the value of their currency is twice that of ours?
It comes down to: What products are America good at? Cars? No, we get our pants beat off by Japanese and European automakers. Have any examples?
Fact is, we need the rest of the world, and we are beginning to need them more than they need us. That's a scary thought. Conservative policy doesn't account for the changing global landscape. China already has us by the balls and you're off in some fantasy land circa World War II
