Not at all, but you actually seem to be, so much so that you think Annenburg ANYTHING is non-partisan.
No actually the quote about Ayers I was thinking of came from David Axelrod B. Husseins Chief Strategist.
"Bill Ayers lives in his neighborhood. Their kids attend the same school," he said. "They're certainly friendly, they know each other, as anyone whose kids go to school together."
You know that one.
You have been smote for putting words in my mouth. I never said he did.
I knew the quote came from his Chief Strategist, Pretty good strategy. Make it seem like their kids are the connection..yup.

No. JGaffney implies that Obama made the statement about himself:
Notice "my neighborhood" and "our kids." So I ask JGaffney, when and where did Obama say this??

I keep wondering (other then the obvious) why everyone here continues to rant about Ayers. He is a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Do you seriously think he would be employed there if he were some sort of terrorist threat, or danger? I'd posted a video of someone who grew up with Malik (Bill's son), and as he points out Ayers was an activist in the 60's. For anyone who lived through the 60's you all know that that time in history was tumultuous, (not that I am completely excusing Ayers behavior), and he has made a positive contribution to society as a matured adult.
Not that that I have ever done anything serious, but when I was a teenager I was VERY rebellious, and for those who know me now (like my spouse) they can't fathom that I would ever do anything wrong. I am a rule follower, and have a moral compass which I live by daily, but if you knew me WAAAAYY back then you would be shocked at the difference. People grow up, people change...

2001That photo and these quotes from New York times Made in 2001 after WTC. The reporter quoted him as saying "I don't regret setting bombs" and "I feel we didn't do enough", and, when asked if he would "do it all again," as saying "I don't want to discount the possibility." So to me I don't see a whole lot of change.
Who the hell stands on the American Flag?
Sorry to go off topic , but you asked, these things make me wonder about bills' level of "Reform"..

So what? The man is entitled to his opinion. Our country is based on free speech. You don't agree with him, so what, get over it. His bombs didn't kill anybody, he was trying to put an end to the Vietnam war, which by most accounts, should have ended long before it did.
If it were Obama saying those things and standing on the flag then we could judge him on it. But it's not Obama, its Bill Ayers.
Don't you get it? Bill Ayers has nothing to do with this election!

Even if you're stretch of guilt were true, how does that give you any right to condemn Obama? Again, Ayers is not running for President, Obama is. You still haven't answered: how does something Ayers did when Obama was 8 years old have any baring on Obama?

SAUNTERELLE AS YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE I AM REPLYING TO A QUESTION FROM JMOYES I UNDERSTAND HE IS NOT B. HUSSEIN. JUST LIKE JOHN MCCAIN IS NOT GWB. Just because he wasn't convicted due to shotty prosecution. DOES NOT mean his bombs didn't kill anybody. Tell that to the family of the officer killed in San Francisco. The FBI report clearly states it Was Bernadine Dohrn who planted the bomb. There was FBI Testimony that Ayers knew where the bomb had been placed and what type of shrapnel was in it. Next you'll tell me we need to free Charles Manson. Or OJ was innocent? Bill Ayers by his own admission: “Guilty as hell, free as a bird—America is a great country”.

"John Kerry believes in an America where hard work is rewarded." -- Barack Obama
And we all know, thanks to Joe that Obama wants to, "spread the wealth around." I never realized wealth was like peanut butter. You buy peanut butter with your hard earned wealth. You spread the peanut butter on a sandwich, you spread the wealth through spending, not taxes.
