"John Kerry believes in an America where hard work is rewarded." -- Barack Obama And we all know, thanks to Joe that Obama wants to, "spread the wealth around." I never realized wealth was like peanut butter. You buy peanut butter with your hard earned wealth. You spread the peanut butter on a sandwich, you spread the wealth through spending, not taxes. Wouldn't you agree that many rich people continue to make their money grow through smart investing? There may be hours of research involved with determining where to invest, but it's hardly comparable to hours of backbreaking toil. And, keep in mind, the hard working Joe the Plumber will get a tax CUT under Obama's plan.

Or is it that you cannot come up with any that say what you think is a positive message.

Sorry, I misunderstood the thread.
Here are a few I like:
"Today we are engaged in a deadly global struggle for those who would intimidate, torture, and murder people for exercising the most basic freedoms. If we are to win this struggle and spread those freedoms, we must keep our own moral compass pointed in a true direction." Barack Obama
"You can put lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig." Barack Obama Sept. '08
"You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, a lot like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy towards people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." Barack Obama - April '08
"We are the ones we have been waiting for." Barack Obama - Feb '08
"We have been told we cannot do this by a chorus of cynics who will only grow louder and more dissonant in the weeks to come. We've been asked to pause for a reality check. We've been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope. But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope. For when we have faced down impossible odds; when we've been told that we're not ready, or that we shouldn't try, or that we can't, generations of Americans have responded with a simple creed that sums up the spirit of a people. Yes we can." Barack Obama - Jan '08
"In Africa, you often see that the difference between a village where everybody eats and a village where people starve is government. One has a functioning government, and the other does not. Which is why it bothers me when I hear people say that government is the enemy. They don't understand its fundamental role." Barack Obama - March '07
"I didn't see the weapons of mass destruction at the time, I didn't think there was an imminent threat from Saddam Hussein." Barack Obama
"You know, my faith is one that admits some doubt." Barack Obama

I’m not denouncing the church, and I’m not interested in people who want me to denounce the church. It’s not a church worthy of denouncing.
After 20 years at said church.

So what? The man is entitled to his opinion. Our country is based on free speech. You don't agree with him, so what, get over it. His bombs didn't kill anybody, he was trying to put an end to the Vietnam war, which by most accounts, should have ended long before it did. Uh, check your facts first, Saunterelle. Read this about the policeman that died in the Weatherman bombing of a San Francisco police station in 1970.
