"I blew a few smoke rings, remembering those years. Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though. ..."

That's where the similarities end, between him and Bush.

Can't stay on point... have to deflect with "well he did it too".
Great debaters you leftists. No wonder shouting down opposition comes so easily to so many of them.

In dismissing any connection to Bill Ayers: He's just a guy who lives in my neighborhood. Our kids went to school together. That quote, faithfully reported by the media, elides over the fact that Obama and Ayers worked together on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, an utterly failed attempt to remake the Chicago elementary school system into a socialist training system, and on the Woods Foundation, which gave large sums to ACORN and to Rev. Wright's church. The media also ignored the fact that Ayers' kids are grown, while Obama's kids are pre-teen.

You misquoted Obama, he never said "He's just a guy who lives in my neighborhood. Our kids went to school together." Why don't you check what factcheck.org has to say about it: www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/he_lied_about_bill_ayers.html Here's an excerpt to show you what Obama actually said:
