Because Ayers has reversed his life and become a pillar in his community. They aren't buddies, they sat on a board together. Why do you keep dragging this on? McCain has already stopped mentioning it because he realizes that this isn't what Americans care about, plus he has no proof to back up his claims that Ayers and Obama "palled around."

Stand on the AMERICAN FLAG for "photo ops".

And make quotes in 2001 such as:

"I don't regret setting bombs"

"I feel we didn't do enough"

And, when asked if he would "do it all again," quoted as saying "I don't want to discount the possibility."


So if this terrorist said this in 2001 when EXACTLY did he become a repentent pillar..and in who's society?
