Frankly, I'm in anticipation of finally being rid of this administration that has left us in so much troubles, that I welcome a change. If mccain is elected, will things get better? The mixed hodge-podge campaigning he is running, choice of VP, questionable political career, unusual marriage, does not spell "good days ahead". Hasn't the distribution of wealth been enjoyed by a certain few since W gave them a tax cut how many years ago??

Yes it has; they are called taxpayers. The One will give the 40% of non-taxpaying citizens a gift from the wallets of the 60% who actually do pay taxes. Change you can believe in. We call it Marxism. You can call it fairness.

You're going to be rid of the Bush administration regardless who wins... or does the Constitution not ring a bell with you? And don't you have a pair associating McCain with a "questionable political career"? You've got to be kidding... right?
I swear some times your posts are so ridiculous..... if you are honestly sitting up at night thinking up this mindless pap of yours, don't quit your day job.

Give me a break! Who's getting paid here? Sshhheeeesshhh. You can think whatever you want about my thinking, but if you hadn't noticed Bush's policies didn't work and mccain's won't either. BTW, not only was Bush spreading the wealth for the top 2-3%, but Palin is also spreading the wealth throughout Alaska with their payments. I guess it is acceptable if Republicans spread it, but no one else can do it.

BD isn't alone in thinking you have completely lost touch with REALITY.
McCain is NOT GWB his policies are NOT the same, and in fact are quite similar to the "messiahs"on MOST points.
But I wouldn't expect you to KNOW ANYTHING about that, I would just expect you to parrot lines from your GWB Derangement classes.

Saunterelle, Obama said he will work with the other side of the aisle and even have Republicans in his cabinet. Mink, please give us just one example of when Obama reached across the aisle in the Senate on a controversial issue. The 2001 quote about redistributionism is not an isolated example. In a presidential debate on ABC, Charles Gibson asked Obama about his plan to raise the capital gains tax rates, pointing out that increases in the past had actually led to reduced revenue, and that cuts in the past had led to increased revenue.Obama's answer: Well, Charlie, what I've said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness.
We saw an article today which showed that the top 50 hedge fund managers made $29 billion last year -- $29 billion for 50 individuals. And part of what has happened is that those who are able to work the stock market and amass huge fortunes on capital gains are paying a lower tax rate than their secretaries. That's not fair.
Then, there's the famous and widely quoted line to Joe the Plumber about "spreading the wealth around." What these three instances show us is that Obama has long-held beliefs about "social justice" that include taking from the rich and giving to the poor. By any other name, that is welfare. Why can't Obama just be honest and say that he wants to increase welfare payments?

I guess it is acceptable if Republicans spread it, but no one else can do it. That is a misrepresentation of the facts and you know it. Allowing people to keep more of their money is not spreading the wealth and it is a lie to say it is, making you a liar. So Bush was not spreading the wealth by allowing people to keep more of their money. Only a socialist would think that way. Palin was not spreading the wealth either. For your information the oil companies were paying Alaskans for their oil, simple as that. Only an idiot would try and say that is spreading the wealth.

How is McCain's proposal to spend $300 billion of taxpayer money to buy up people's bad mortgages not "spreading the wealth?" Seems to me this would be worse than having rich folks pay 3% more.
