Mink, google "bush calls for volunteers" and you will find lots of links. Some of the best though, have now been taken down by the new presidents staff. You will find stuff from every year of his adminstration. But of course, BDS assured that the progressives didn't hear it.

No more BDS? I think this disease still afflicts many of the left wingers althought Bush is no longer in office.
What's worse is now we have people who suffer from ODS. Obama Derangement Syndrom (other forms include Obsessive Compulsive Obama Disorder OCOD and Idol Worship Syndrome) has swept the left wing community like an epidemic which they have no defense for. While there may be hope for a few to heal themselves, many millions will continue to suffer and not even realize they are infected until it is much too late.
These chuckleheads are lied rats dancing along happily to the piper's tune heading straight down the road to socialism.
They have been lied to by Obama. "Obama lied, no one died..... yet."

Oh, yes Bush was in the 70% range alright. I posted a link a few months back.
To save his tush, Republicans tried in the 11th hour to boost it so it wasn't so low, however no other president had reached a 70% range in their term/s.

Yes, and depending on the poll, it goes as high as 73%, from what I've seen- this is nationallly
However, when it comes to the economy, it was as high as 95% disapproval among Democrats, although I don't know why Republicans would like the recent economy or recession.
