Politico's explanation seems to be that his campaign hasn't done a good job, while the Obama campaign has, so therefore any overt bias on the part of the press is meaningless and not a problem.
Well excuse me, but if the Obama campaign is so magnificent, why aren't they 20 points out in front nationally and standing by to deliver a 49 state beatdown? The polls continue to gap closer and by this time next week the measure of victory could be razor thin.
And if that's the case, the press bias is going to be a real issue and not so easily dismissed.

Politico political editor Charles Mahtesian was e-mailing the other day with a Republican lobbyist who signed off with a plea that sounded more like a taunt: “Keep it balanced.”
A reader e-mailed us with the same sentiment in different language. “Are you f***ing joking! Your bias has stooped to an all-time low. Wait, it will probably get worse as election day nears.” Those asterisks, by the way, are hers, not ours.
And get a load of this one, from someone in Rochester, N.Y., who did not like our analysis of the final presidential debate. “You guys are awfully tough on McCain. There may be some legitimacy to the claim of press bias. Mom.”

OK, let’s just get this over with: Yes, in the closing weeks of this election, John McCain and Sarah Palin are getting hosed in the press, and at Politico.

So what?[/quote]

Hmmm, gee, do you think being African American might play a role in it some where (unfortunately)? Just ask the Nazi/white supremacist groups...

WOW Jmo, I SURE hope my sarcasm detector is busted again.
As I HIGHLY DOUBT the groups which you mention make up even a FRACTIONAL percentage of America.
Historically dems need to be polling around 50% to win.
B. Hussein is not no matter how the numbers are twisted.

The One is NOT African-American, he is Arab-American. A negligible difference, especially since the Arab world is at war with us. Nothing to see here, move along.

Well in actuality he is white 50%......Arab 44% and 6% African.
But for the sake of the election he's "Black" DON'T ARGUE or attempt to insert FACT, as it will fall on deaf ears. That way they CAN play the "race" card...even though he's a tan white guy.

Hmmm, gee, do you think being African American might play a role in it some where (unfortunately)? Just ask the Nazi/white supremacist groups... That has to be the most ignorant and openly racist thing I have ever seen on this board. Words fail me (no small feat) to describe the anger and hurt. You are now on ignore and you can bloody well go stuff yourself, your racist opinions and your identity politics.

Big Dog~
Well, then! I guess I conclude by saying your response is one of the most over reactive posts I have ever seen. For you to be so offended is ridiculous at best. Obama is up against racism, maybe not so much in CA, but in many other states and that is a FACT. And better yet, to not acknowledge that is just plain ignorant!
Get over yourself…

Here's a fine example:
[glow=red,2,300]IDIOTS![/glow]
Don't think this is racist? Think it is uncommon? Isolated case? The whacko liberals made this video at Pixar and magically twisted it?
Many other parts of this country feel exactly the same way, and it is wrong!

Since Mccain went negative, so do his followers. This is despicable behavior. Now, this is un-American!!

So JMO, we should take it that the people who have an effigy of Palin hung in front of their house are calling for her and McCain to be killed and assume that they are representaive of all the Bamaheads? And that all those who support Barry want McCain and Pain hanged and burned. Or, lets see, Rev. Michael Pfleger, a strong obama supporter, called for the killing of gun store owners. So, by extention all supporters of Barry want all gun store owners killed.
I agree somewhat with Big Dog. You have taken the words and deeds of a wacko fringe that may number a few hundred and made the leap of logic that all those who are against Barry-boy must be just like the skinhead idjits.

JMO isn't categorizing all mccain voters. In fact, the mccain campaign has not only brought this on to itself, but has encouraged radical behavior on both sides. The jerk who put up a palin dummy being hung is no better than the rest of this craziness and was reactionary to this campaign........ it all started with negative campaigning by mccain/palin.
