Rush Limbaugh and Osama Bin Laden both want Obama (and our country) to fail. And Limbaugh calls himself a patriotic American? Sorry, but he is nothing more than a partisan blowhard hack, not a true American. Hannity says Limbaugh "defines conservatives." I sure hope not.
Even while I strongly disliked Bush and his policies, I wanted to see him succeed because I love America. Perhaps Limbaugh has popped one pill too many.

Kumbaya my lord, kumbaya... saunterelle is so patriotic and supportive of America. He would never denigrate anyone in the Republican party or deny history.
I really like the stretch you tried to make to have that ludicrous statement of yours have meaning. But, like a good little propagandist you missed the mark. He never said he wanted America to fail, he said he wanted the socialist agenda of Obama and the left to fail. He also said that if the Bush tax cuts are allowed to stay, he would consider that a success.
You have some really screwed up principles saunterelle. You belong in the Democrat party.

If Obama's fails, America fails right along with him, right? He is certainly saying that he wants to see America fail (under Obama). It is the snarky partisan in him that doesn't give a crap about America as long as his own selfish beliefs are reaffirmed.

No, that is not right or correct. If Obama fails it may well be better for America in the long run. This new stimulus package is definitely going to put our country at substantial risk. It runs the risk of failure, just like we are seeing from the original stimulus package. And remember, this stems from Democrats attempting to game the housing industry with the CRA rating that caused financial institutions to give risky loans to meet the criteria of the CRA rating created by Bill Clinton and his administration. A failure Bill has already admitted.

No, our crisis does not simply stem from that. There are multiple causes for the crisis from both sides of the aisle.

I too, want The One to fail, as his failure will be America's success. The O-policies he campaigned on are proven to be failures. Why would I want them to succeed? I also question your "support" for GWB. It appears, strangely enough, just as his administration ends. Hmmm... As has been stated ad infinitum by your brethren, as refers to "the troops", I can say plainly that "I support the President, I just don't support his policies". Rush is not being duplicitous and hypocritical, you are.

And how many times did we hear the left wingers say things like:
"The war is lost."
"This president's failed policy (insert topic: war policy, economic policy, foreign policy, etc.)
For eight years the left wingers sought to make a president fail and sought to make America fail. All so they could regain power. Ahh yes, power! The life-giving blood of the American lefty. They will do anything to have it including throwing their own country under the bus.
Now it is time for me to seek my vengence! Liberals of the world will receive a heaping helping of their own medicine from my keyboard. Enjoy it as you realize what you have done to President George Bush now turns to bite you on your own asses.

Hey, RWA, welcome to our little refuge. Keep in mind that this ISN'T the PD forums. The tone of your introductory post is kind of close to the top. Keep it somewhat civil. Thank you very much. You may now return to your rant.

Oh, sorry. Didn't intend to offend. I wouldn't want to do that. Just aiming to give what we got over the last eight years.
I'll check my meds and try to keep in line. Thnks for the welcomes.
Oh, what's a PD forum?

Ah, the Press Democrat, our local NYT owned newspaper and fish wrapper.
I agree with your sentiments. I myself am looking forward to the next four years and playing by the rules the left set about 8 years ago. Look around some, get a feel for the place. I understand your enthusiasm, but good manners dictate that you don't come into a room with guns blazing. Hell, you might hit the whiskey!
