I too, want The One to fail, as his failure will be America's success. The O-policies he campaigned on are proven to be failures. Why would I want them to succeed? I also question your "support" for GWB. It appears, strangely enough, just as his administration ends. Hmmm... As has been stated ad infinitum by your brethren, as refers to "the troops", I can say plainly that "I support the President, I just don't support his policies". Rush is not being duplicitous and hypocritical, you are. Clinton, FDR, JFK... The list goes on and on. Obama's political bent has been proven to work time and time again. It took FDR's "socialist agenda" to carry us out of the great depression and now Obama will have to save our asses from the disastrous policies of George W. Bush and the Republicans. How can you be so pigheadedly stubborn to believe that the failed conservative policies that got us into this mess are the right ones to get us out. Republicans had control of the White House, Senate, and Congress and they did NOTHING but dig us deeper and deeper into depression and misery. Face it, your way is the wrong way. And please explain how Obama's failure would be America's success. Is that what you would tell the millions of Americans who could be out of a job or starving out on the street? I don't go around saying that Bush's failures were America's success. They were America's downfall, now we have to rally around our new, intelligent, President and hope he can lead us out of this mess.

disastrous policies?
you mean the ones that provided continued economic growth throughout most of his presidency?
you mean the ones that kept this nation safe for the last 7 years? unlike the clinton policies that invited repeat attacks on the US.
you mean the ones that have been saving lives of millions of people in africa from malaria?
you mean the ones that have taken a strong stance (defense) on global muslim terrorists?
btw, wlecome RWA.

I'll say! Bush's policies have left the country in the mess we are in today, ie a recession, high unemployment, two wars we can't afford, hugh deficit....and the list goes on. But if you like it, yay, he did it all in 8 years, which is why the Republicans lost the White House & Congress. I hope they take responsibility and help the Obama admin. clean up their mess.

I hope they fight The Prophet tooth and nail, and send him back to the Chicago cesspool from which he arose.

More on the "failed" policies of Pres. Bush:
"President Bush's critics tagged him as too prone to war and unwilling to use diplomacy. His list of diplomatic achievements is arguably more impressive than his war record: the return of a US spy plane and pilots shot down over China, the containment of North Korea in six party talks that Hillary Clinton has confirmed will continue as US policy, the removal of Libya's chemical weapons program, the end of genocide in southern Sudan that killed more than 2 million people in the 1990s, the removal of the murderous Charles Taylor from rule in Liberia and replacing him with the first female president on the continent of Africa, pulling Pakistan and India back from the brink of nuclear war in 2003, the coordination of more than 60 nations in global interdictions of illegal arms trade, improved bilateral relations with the second largest nation in the world-- India.
Each of these diplomatic achievements accentuates overall successes in bringing the electorates of foreign nations closer to the American political orbit. This success again stands in sharp contrast to allegations of his critics. Elections in all of the following countries removed leaders opposed to President Bush and replaced them with leaders more sympathetic with Bush's foreign policy: France, Germany, South Korea, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Albania, Lebanon, Australia, Canada and Italy. The populations of more than 350 million people moved closer to the American orbit of politics not further away while President Bush was in office. "
Yep, how dare he do those things. Failure, failure, failure. Which is why Steve will be keeping many of those policies in place. Yep. All failures.

Whoever wrote that synopsis is totally biased. It is nowhere close to realistic.

Whoever wrote that synopsis is totally biased. It is nowhere close to realistic. OK, Mink. Post your links that refute the claims in that piece. ADDED: And ONLY the claims in that piece. No overall fluff pieces that talk in generalities.

but don't you know joe, that none of that stuff meshes with the DNC talking points used to supress bush's popularity ratings?
good, loyal liberals are not required to do any independent thinking or research. it is preferred that they simply take "the words" as gospel. because the DNC says it's so then so it is!
